Hi all.
In the interest of starting this
all back up again, I'm going to
try to give regular updates on
progress - so folks feel informed
about what's going on behind the
scenes whilst they wait.
Right now I've just finished
updating our code so that it compiles
correctly (I hope) on the updated
compiler on the shiny new server
we got moved to. I'm going to
move this new version of the game
over to the player port, as it's
been stable so far on the coder
port, and I'll need to see how
robust it is.
My next move is to create the
code and protocol for a sort of
'guide' position on DH, which
will be given to those both interested
and showing the responsibility/demeanor
etc. necessary. Guides will have
limited power to help new players
in an ooc manner, and should be
able to do this whilst playing
their own pc's. I think this will
help the game greatly in shifting
some of the responsibility for
expanding the community back onto
the community itself.
After that I'll probably go over
all the pending apps and do a
mass approval and reminder message
to old active accounts. I'd love
to have guides in place before
then - so if you're interested
in being a guide, speak up!

technically the continuance of
an Alpha Testing Phase, it will
be treated as a full role-play-intensive
